Subject: Equivalence
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Hi, I am currently looking into tests for equivalence. I want to compare two medical treatments and decide whether they are equal or not. I am looking for a test for equivalence in a parallel group design with ordinal data. Does anybody have a macro for a Mann-Whitney-test or a t-test for equivalence that I could use with SPSS.

Any advice on any either of these matters would be appreciated. Thanks, Christian Schmidhauser, Zuerich, Switzerland
