Full-time permanent Position at H&R Block's World Headquarters in Kansas
City, Missouri.
Duties and Responsibilities: Reports to the Manager of Decision Support.
Acts as a key liaison between executive leadership and Decision Support
Team. Works closely with leaders of business units to define information
and analysis requirements, manage expectations and coordinate delivery of
results. Management/ supervision of analytic team. Conducts complex
business analyses and develops reports that support management
decision-making relative to client marketing and retail operations. Produce
marketing information, analyze trends and deliver key performance
indicators. Design/create usable data models and recommend new strategies
for promotions and pricing. Deliver cost-effective means of customer
segmentation/ communication. Data mining to provide customer profiling,
behavioral prediction, targeting and segmentation. Monitoring and analysis
of marketing campaigns. Providing statistical expertise for the development
of the teams decision support systems. Coordinate activities across
decision support team to ensure appropriate business focus, priorities and
analytical resource assignments are maintained.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Operations
Research or related field with and emphasis in quantitative analytic
methods. 5+ years experience performing complex business analysis in
support of management decision-making. Exceptional analytical and
problem-solving skills, including the ability to discern user needs from
vague or incomplete requirements. Proficiency in SAS with emphasis on
programming, statistical analysis, data manipulation, and data quality
management skills. Ability to integrate with MS Office Suite and other
analytic tools. Demonstrated organization and prioritization skills.
Effective oral, written and interpersonal skills. Effective oral, written
and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA, 7+ years experience performing complex business analysis. Ability to
learn new software tools quickly. Ability to quickly learn and support new
software applications, Unix, (HP) experience a plus.
