Sorry...that picture is from a Formula 1 race (as the caption says -
Monza!), not Indianapolis. The front-engined roadsters (such as the Novi
Special) that were being run at Indy at the time were a lot bigger.

The rear-engined Lotus cars driven at Indy in the mid- to late-60's were a
lot closer to their F1 cousins...
