I have a series of SPSS V6.1 jobs I want to run in sequence in production mode controlled by a single batch file. The first several jobs save Tables output that I use as input (fixed-length ASCII) to a later job.

Unfortunately only the first job runs. Apparently Win98 tries to start an SPSS session for each job before the previous job finishes but cannot since only one SPSS job can run at one time.

Any suggestions on how to prevent control to pass to the second job until the first job is done?
