Sorin,
If you need to only delete a file in spss syntax, it isn't necessary to use
DOS
commands: you can use the ERASE FILE spss command in your syntax:
ERASE FILE="<your file>".
where your <your file> is the file name you want to delete.

Subject: DOS commands in a syntax file?
Hi list!
Is there any way to execute DOS commands from a syntax file or, at least,
from a script.
I want to delete some files after the command that matches them into the
final database.
