This is a new 'feature' of 10.0.5 and is documented in the SPSS web
pages devoted to 'support' - this gives details of the 'workround'
which involves going into the ODBC setup in Control Panel etc. I'm
sorry I can't remeber the URL at the moment. I have raised this with
SPSS and they are 'looking into it'
Perhaps if more people complain it may get returned to a more sensible
approach !!!!
