2:00pm  Welcome and Introduction

2:10pm  Looking for Patterns and Segments With a Cross-tab Report. - Dr.
Tony Wohlers, Statistical Investigations.
                        A cross-tab report is a common way of summarising
data with categorical variables. In it the rows and columns correspond to
values of these variables, so that the body of the report contain
frequencies or percentages of data with a given combination of row and
column values. In his talk we will look at a technique (correspondence
analysis), which when applied to a cross-tab report allows you to visualise
patterns (or associations) in your data and identify sub-groups (segments).
The relevant SAS code and PROCs will be discussed and demonstrated.

2:40pm  Don't print your reports on paper, publish them to the web !- John
Savoria, SAS Institite
                Stop wasting paper and start taking advantage of the new SAS
features for publishing static reports. A discussion on transferring
physical reporting to electronic reporting, using Enterprise Reporter and
the Internet at a customer site. The current reports are SAS and Crystal
Reports.  Taking an existing batch job and rapidly converting the code to
allow for electronic delivery was easy. Production cost was minimal and the
saving was large in both time and cost,  as the client was used to sending
files to printer and receiving the reports 2-3 weeks later.

                                Lindsay will show how easy to send your
reports from the mainframe to the USS to be viewed on the WEB as GIF files,
PROC PRINT reports and DATA _NULL_ reports Using Version 6.

4:30pm  Drinks and Nibbles
