As I understand your problem, your 'users' do not use any of the AF-components? They just run SAS-program and use the results for someting else?

In that case, I solved a similar problems by simple VB6-program. It had a combobox with all available options and a commandbutton to activate whatever option the user chose.

Took me 5 minutes to write and works perfectly.

Of course if your users interact further with the SAS-application the right thing is to use AF code. But I don't think that is what you meant?
