Subject: The 3 types of installations
Hello All,
I am new to NT Server, and am currently (I am sure that there will be
many more to come) unclear on one point. In the installation
instructions for version 8 it lists 3 types of installations: Personal
Use, Client, and File Server. Under File Server it says "The SAS system
created using a Server install may be directly executed if the
administrator of the file server chooses to install the SAS System as an
Application Server." What does this mean? How is this different from a
Personal installation on the Server? Is it simply where the files are
located on the server and who has access to them?
Thanks for the help in advance.
