Yesterday, 7/29, Jeff had a Kentucky Warbler and Trail's Flycatcher at South
Peachtree Creek.
Also, information for those vertically-challenged birders (who might miss an
American Bittern 'cause we can't see over the grass)...Atlanta Audubon has
agreed to help the S. Peachtree Creek Nature Preserve Association fund the
construction of a slightly elevated observation platform near the current
boardwalk. It is hoped that this will not be an intrusive structure, will
allow better viewing, and will give birders space to stand with tripods out
of the way of other visitors.
