Subject:   The Application Dispatcher killed itself?
Content-Type:   text/plain; charset=US-ASCII

Dear SAS-Lers,

My Application Dispatcher running on AIX may possibly kill itself after it has processed a request for 5 minutes(exactly 5 minutes). It kills the request and kill itself too.

It seems it has no relations with ServiceTimeOut setting, which is 600(s), in broker.cfg. What is problem?

Following is a piece of the log.

Thu, Oct 19, 2000 11:04:42.89 Request 8 from 190.2.200.6 started. Thu, Oct 19, 2000 11:04:43.66 Request 8 ended okay (0.77 seconds) Thu, Oct 19, 2000 11:04:51.71 Request 9 from 190.2.200.6 started. Thu, Oct 19, 2000 11:09:51.71 Killing request 9 Thu, Oct 19, 2000 11:09:51.74 Killing request 9 Thu, Oct 19, 2000 11:09:51.74 Killing request 9 Thu, Oct 19, 2000 11:09:51.74 Killing request 9 Thu, Oct 19, 2000 11:09:51.74 Killing request 9 --- Application Server log closed on Thu, Oct 19, 2000 11:09:52.06 ---

Any body could show me the rope? TIA.

Eden
