Subject: Within Subjects Variance

Hi all,

I have a little problem on how to handle the following:

I have 2 groups of people with inequal size. One group of 160 people and the other of 15 people! Now each person of the 2 groups had to hold a square flat object 5 times and we collected the x and y cartesian coordinates of all fingerstips of all subjects. Now I would like to look at the within subjects variance of all variables for each group and compare them to see wich one is greater. How would I test if the within variance is the same or not ? (what test would allow me to do that? and How can it be done in SAS?)

Thank you very much,

mark
