Dayna- The problem may be with your not having an internet connection from the machine. I have the OnLine docs installed on my laptop. Everything works fine when I'm connected to the network, and thus have an internet connection available, but Search does not work if I'm "on the road." I have a friend (are you listening Paul Hamilton) who told me about the same problem months ago and he was told by SI Tech Support that they knew of the problem and that there were no immediate plans to fix it. I would be VERY happy to find someone who's found a work-around or who has installed the OnLine Docs on a machine without an Internet connection and has the Search function working.
