1. UNICEF is looking for international models for a fashion show on
April 19. They would also like to showcase clothing from all over the
world. If you have an outfit you would like to donate for an evening,
or wear it yourself please e-mail Monira at monira@arches.uga.eu by
Thursday, March 22. They need your help. Thank you.
2. Not many coffee hours left in this semester. This week's coffee hour
will be sponsored by the Chinese Student Association, coffee donated by
Gran Coffee. All are welcome to come to the Memorial Hall Ballroom on
March 23 from 11:30 to 1:30. FREE! FREE! FREE!
3. What do you know about Indonesia? Come and see for yourself! The
Indonesian Student Organization will hold a lecture on the
Democratization Movement in Indonesia, March 22, 2001 at 4:00 p.m. in
Adrinka Hall (Memorial Hall) Room 407 (Refreshments will be served.)
Guest speaker: Dr. Dino P. Djalal, Head of Political. Department

5. International Street Festival meeting Tuesday, March 20 at 5:30 p.m.
in the ISL Lounge. We will have some special guests.
6. ISL will hold an information question tax question and answer
meeting on Sunday, March 25 from 2:00 - 5:00 at Family and Graduate
Housing Community Room for international students only.
7. World Leaders international orientation leaders will be meeting on
Wednesday, March 21, at 5:30 p.m. in ISL Lounge.
8. The Indian Student Association will host India night on April 7,
2001 in Georgia Hall at 7:00 p.m.. A variety of activities are planned.

1. Dear International Student Representatives,
Thursday evening, March 22, we will be hosting a traveling
presentation called Globalization Road show in the Tate Center.
Globalization Road show focuses on economic, cultural, social justice,
and human rights issues raised by the current trend of globalization and
the rules and institutions. The presentation is sponsored by the UGA
student organizations Students for Environmental Awareness, Amnesty
International, and Students for Nader. As part of this event, the
organizers welcome input from international students who have
experienced the impacts of economic globalization in their home
countries. We have space for a few short statements from the podium.
Come and discuss your views and experiences with others in the audience.
Please reply to Dan Everett Faculty Advisor, Students for Nader and let
him know your home country and how you would like to participate. Please
inform other members of your organizations so that they can attend,
