Subject: Re: ODS and PROC GPLOT & PROC TEMPLATE
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hi, Thanks to all those who replied to my two queries about ODS.

I think that I have learnt that using html files as a stepping stone to Word files is probably not a good idea (thanks for the explanation Jaclyn). A couple of people suggested ODS RTF, but this seems to be problematic in SASv8.00. Apart from not being able to get tables in a reasonable form, I also keep getting 'ERROR Class "GRSEG_VIEW" is not a member of the RTF family' whenever there is output from PROC GPLOT involved.

So for the moment I think I will stick with html (and convert the graphic and put borders on the tables manually) rather than try to get RTF to work properly (I am already out of my depth with PROC TEMPLATE) and hope that we get v8.2 in the not too distant future.
