Subject: Q on dates
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

I have a variable called bmrdopen defined as $8. and contains dates which I want to convert to mmddyy10. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Also I wanted to learn about working with dates .... which book has the best examples on converting character and numeric values to dates and vice-versa.

Thanks in advance for your help.
