Position Description:=20 Position: Principle Systems Analyst=20 Location: Eagan, MN=20 Type: Direct Hire (Permanent)=20 Job No.: 1149=20 Employer Profile:

Is a pharmacy benefits solutions company dedicated to providing = innovative, clinically-based, cost-effective pharmacy solutions for it's = clients and their members. Providing services to approximately 5 = million covered lives, client base includes several Blue Cross and Blue = Shield plans, employers, union groups and third party administrators.

Summary of Responsibilities:

The position will be primarily programming and unit testing in support = of projects - primarily using SAS. Much of the development will center = around data stored in a Web Enabled Data Warehouse. The duties include = other steps in the systems development life cycle, such as requirements = gathering and design. We follow a project management methodology, where = we need to document each phase and get written approval. We have = project managers who oversee this, but the duties for this position = include performing or assisting with requirement and design, including = documenting the requirements and the design, etc.

The initial project that this position will be working on is developing = applications on a new and exciting web deployed data warehouse. This is = a really exciting and career building opportunity for the right = candidate. The duties include supporting some legacy applications. the = position will be primarily writing code and performing unit testing. We = typically have a simple written unit test plan that the developer = writes, gets approval on, and executes.

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates must posses a bachelor's degree along with a = minimum of 6 to 8 years of development experience, including a minimum = of 2 years SAS application development experience.

Desired skills include:

a.. Experience with the formality of working within an information = systems department.=20

b.. Exposure to and understanding of the Systems Development Life = Cycle.=20

c.. Experience within a health care or pharmaceutical organization.=20

d.. Desire to learn, grow and advance.=20

Benefits and Compensation:
