It's incredibly stupid that MS has added so many bells and whistles over the years but still hasn't included this useful feature. I did this in Word 5.1 for the Macintosh by creating the number as a graphic and then rotating it. That was 7 years ago though, there's sure to be a better method. I'd suggest an advanced search of usenet groups using google (successor of dejanews) http://groups.google.com/advanced_group_search Use *word* for the groups and add your keywords, this should get you some expert advice on Word. Unless someone on this list has already provided the answer of course.
