Good point, Mike. But this only computes the reliabiltiy coefficient. It doesn't provide a significance level. Gordon clearly already had Alpha, since his reviewer was calling him on it. :-) Unfortunately, what is an 'acceptable' Cronbach's alpha tends to change from psychometrics to sociometrics to biometrics to you name it...
