The measure Ive used is that this was my sixth Seugi conference. What I was most disappointed with was the lack of new things coming from SAS, especially in the area of general coding.

I have been using ODS and proc template extensively and wished to see more of what other people were doing. Obviously SAS cant decide what people wish to present but there seemed to be lack of Partner presentations and booths. I spoke to several people who said they have tendered papers and these had been rejected.

I have wondered whether this was a backlash from Dublin where a lot of papers were from partners, if it is then perhaps SAS have gone too far.
