Subject: Can you hide SAS code?

First, let me thank you all for your indulgence and your kindness, even when I ask dumb questions.

Here's my next possibly dumb question. If I compile a program in C or Visual Basic, the source code is not visible to the user. Even for some packages, such as Excel or FoxPro, there are ways to hide the program code, such as putting in password protection. I've never had to do that in SAS, but I may encounter such a situation soon. Is there a standard way to keep unauthorized users from seeing your SAS source code?

Thanks!
