Similar proposals are being advanced in New Zealand and Canada, that I'm
aware. These include public input and discussion processes.
My understanding, per recent comments of Lawrence Lessig, law professor at
Stanford University, is that most WIPO signatories have not yet
implemented DMCA legislation. In other words, there's an opportunity to
avoid the US situation for most of you elsewhere.
