Subject: Atlanta Audubon field trips this weekend
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

This is the last weekend of the fall migration walks, so let's get out and find some birds. There'll be more good trips during the winter months, including a combined Atlanta Audubon/Ocmulgee Audubon (Macon) trip to Huie, and a trip to the wonderful Phinizy Swamp in Augusta, both planned for November. Stay tuned.

Sat. Oct. 20

Huie & Wetlands Center (Clayton Co.) 8:00 a.m. Meet at Wetlands Center Leader: Peter Stangel The waterfowl and pipits are arriving and there's much good habitat for shorebirds on the ponds; still a few migrants on the trail and early winter arrivals.

Fernbank Forest (DeKalb Co.) 8:00 a.m. Meet in the parking lot of the Science Center Leader: Lisa Hurt

Sunday, Oct. 21

Cochran Shoals/CRNRA (Cobb Co.) 7:30 a.m. Meet at the start of the jogging trail Leader: Joel Hitt
