Carol, Raynald, and list:
I am running v10.0.7 and I do have the "Point32" device running.
INCLUDE does not work-- the command "GET DATA /TYPE=ODBC" fails.
I am able to run my syntax by highlighting now.
Many Thanks

Hi, Mark and List,
Let me guess -- you're running version 8 or 9 (Windows)? There's
apparently some conflict between certain mouse drivers and SPSS that causes
this annoying behavior. SEE SPSS Answer Net # 100005913
http://www.spss.com/tech/answer/result.cfm?tech_tan_id=100005913
(I stashed this tidbit at
http://www.tc.umn.edu/~syzygy/Rsc_SPSS_Syntax1.htm#RunQuit because it
used to be a common question.)
