Hello Wei, Walter, and Other SAS-L Friends,
It appears that SAS wants you to visit their web site for OnlineDoc as a
last resort. If everyone visited the SAS web site to read OnlineDoc, SAS
would have to up their server capacity. If the OnlineDoc users frequently
employed the search facility, that would increase the server demand even
more.
As Walter said in his post, it is perfectly acceptable to make the
OnlineDoc available to a site's SAS uses via intranet or installation on
individual hard drives. Doing this lessens the demands on the SAS web
site, which helps keep it available.
