We are running SAS 8.0 on Win2000. Two of our 8 workstations with SAS do
nothing when we click EDIT->FIND or EDIT->REPLACE. SAS Technical Support
says:
"The FIND and RFIND keys fail to work in Release 8.2 of the SAS System
Enhanced Editor. The problem was caused by a fix.
To circumvent the problem, from the menu bar select Edit>Find.
A Technical Support hot fix for Release 8.2 TSLEVEL 2M0 for this
problem is available ..."
Our problem is just the opposite. Our get around is to load DLGFIND and
DLGREPLACE into the KEYS window under unused keys. It works - but I would
love to know how to really fix those two machines.

Subject: Find and replace ...?
Hi,
I am running sas v8 under winxp, and from the enhanced editor, when I go to
the menu "edit" "replace", nothing happens. ctrl+h or ctrl+f have also no
effect at all. I re-installed sas but it does not change anything. Is it a
known bug of sas v8?
Thanks a lot,
Nicolas
