A couple of extra ones to follow up my friends usually comprehensive answer

SWALK is, I believe Liverpudlian in origin.. You know, the Beatles, the Liver birds, Scouse, the Mersey beat. I'm surprised not to have seen the emergence of the Q code, other morse abbreviations or even the 10 code in email. They seem to have become well entrenched in Citizens band radio from their original source in professional communications. Otherwise we'd see more people signing their emails with...
