you are right, a few head-hunters are Clue Less.. and have no idea of what SAS programming is about!!. Not too long, I saw a job advertisement in monster.com ( may be some others in this list might have seen too) with the Title : "Wanted Experienced SAS Programer" and in the body of the text...

it read as, " at least three years of experience in STRATEGIC ANALYTICAL SYSTEM PROGRAMING skills" there you go...
