Subject: Jim Mark's Chi-square Example
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"; format=flowed
A small issue that may need attention. If you run the syntax statement
that Jim Mark's sent you may have a small problem if you do not include a
"0" before the first 9 numbers. I ran this syntax without and the first 9
values for ind_grp & eth_grp were recorded as missing.
Second, If you wanted to input the contingency table rather than the raw
values is there a method for accomplishing this in SPSS. Let's I was
interested in looking at a contingency table of value from a journal
article and wanted to evaluate those values through ChiSQ. Has anyone done
this? Can it be done easily? Can some of the modules not handle matrix input?
Thanks in advance for any help.
