Subject: Re: European notation question (fwd)
Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII

I am reviewing a manuscript (in English) by European authors who use a notation with some correlation results that I am not familiar with: to wit, two periods before the correlation number: E.g., ..89

They also report correlations with the usual single decimal point (e.g., .89) in the same tables. Can anyone tell me the meaning of the double decimal point?

Thanks in advance
