Location: New London, CT
Pay Rate: Negotiable.
Duration: 6 month contract.
Description/Requirements:
Minimum of 2-3 years experience in base SAS skills.Date/file management
(data step, merge/set array processing.)Proficient with SAS on multiple
platforms, UNIX, SQL based relational products and MS Products (Excel).SAS
reporting (data_null_step)PC skills, Windows 95/NT, Word, Excel. Knowledge
of Oracle considered a plus.Pharmaceutical and/or clinical trial experience
considered a plus.An understanding of system development lifecycle (SDLC)
principles.
Education: BS/BA in technical, computer science or life science.
Enhance and support existing applications as well as design and develop new
applications for clinical studies. Gather and analyze client requirements to
develop clinical trial reporting systems (including summary tables, patient
listings, Case Report Form tabulations, and derived datasets). Develop and
maintain detailed design specifications, follow departmental standard
operating procedures, validate systems and generate and maintain systems
documentation. Assist with or provide programming support for special
clinical projects.
