Subject: recently used file list doesn't stick
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

We're testing SAS v8.2 on a Windows 2000 machine with Terminal Server. I've also got a local installation of the same SAS version on my Windows NT4 workstation to compare with.

In the Terminal Server setup the recently used files list is lost when the SAS session ends, i.e. the next SAS session starts without list.

On the local installation it works normally.

Users don't have access to the desktop on the server and can't start NT Explorer on the server.

Is there something the IT manager may have done to the server setup that causes this as a side effect?

Thanks for any clues! -- Arjen Raateland Finnish Environment Institute SAS Support phone +358 9 4030 0350
