Subject: exposure duration calculations
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1
Here's a good one...
I have a dataset which contains 2 dates (date1 & date2). I want to
calculate an average exposure (data provided in a different dataset -
dataset 2) for the duration between the 2 dates. The final dataset
should have [date1 date2 avgexp1 avgexp2 avgexp3 avgexp4]
for example, date1=16jan2000 and date2= 8Aug2000, average exposure(s)
(exp1 exp2 exp3 exp4) would be.. (82.6667 + 80.8333+ ....67.3333)/8
dataset 1
date1 date2 AVGEXP1 AVEEXP2
01/16/00 08/15/00 (82.6667 + 80.8333+ ....67.3333)/8
07/23/00 08/15/00 (74.5833 + 67.333)/2
06/30/00 12/15/00 etc...
07/14/00 12/15/00
dataset 2
month exp1 exp2 exp3 exp4
01/15/00 82.6667 50.0000 63.8333 53.0833
02/15/00 80.8333 49.2500 62.2500 51.9167
03/15/00 80.7500 48.9167 63.0833 51.7500
04/15/00 80.5833 49.5833 63.0000 51.9167
05/15/00 80.0000 50.0833 63.3333 51.7500
06/15/00 79.2500 47.0000 61.2500 49.2500
07/15/00 74.5833 43.9167 58.0833 44.6667
08/15/00 67.3333 38.3333 51.6667 38.9167
09/15/00 70.0000 39.4167 54.3333 38.9167
10/15/00 67.5833 37.6667 53.0000 38.8333
11/15/00 64.4167 37.2500 53.8333 40.1667
12/15/00 64.1667 36.5000 53.8333 40.0000
