Hi,

Converting from TS1.2 to TS1.3 should be relatively simple as you are already familiar with the new recovery procedures in CICS and you have already setup the MVS Logger. The RCT for DB2 is no longer supported so you will have to convert to RDO; The CICS/WEB interface got a new face but, if you were doing this in CICS/TS 1.2, you are probably using the BLI which is still supported in TS1.3. This CICS also supports Web-aware CICS programs and IIOP inbound requests. The 3270-bridge has also been reworked....much easier in TS1.3....Other than that, just about everything else is new. The DCT is still supported but it goes away in TS2.2. Some new functions: Named Counters, Coupling Facility Data Tables, Business Transaction Services, TS enhancements (16-char TSQ names) and many more.

Good Luck...it should be a simple task.
