Ladies and Gents,

Despite yesterday's bad weather and ominous forecast for this morning, we were able to attend Easter sunrise services which were held outside our little church in northern Floyd County. I found myself listening to the birds more than I probably ought to have been, but it was quite a symphony. There was a vireo (species unknown since I don't make a habit of carrying field glasses to church services) singing sweetly from a shagbark hickory. There were alot of other common birds singing but the most impressive thing I saw was a red-headed woodpecker in flight. For some reason, I don't see red-heads very often and they are really spectacular.

Sincerely,

Dan Roper Rome, GA I love creation. I worship the Creator.
