Hi list,

I would like to evaluate trend with this information:

Sea level High level Positive Negative Positive Negative Category 1 38 2 32 3 Category 2 37 3 38 0 Category 3 35 5 28 9

I want to evaluate if trend for sea level is different of high level.

What kind of test I must apply? Can I do this using SPSS or other statistical package?

I have normally used linear-by-linear-association chi-square to test trend for one group but in this case I have two groups.

Thanks for any advice,

/Christian,
