Subject: Re: SAS "Learning Edition" ($125/copy) announced at SUGI 27

That is interesting. I just do not understand why this is not free. I am not into marketing, but the money they make by charging $125 for this must be negligible compared to the added marketing value.

Anyway, how can someone learn SAS without sashelp.class?? ;) <from webpage:> Limitations SAS Learning Edition is an educational tool, not intended for commercial use.

This product will expire on December 31, 2006. This product will only process 1000 observations. No maps or datasets are provided. Limited product support is available via the SAS Learning Edition Web site (www.sas.com/LE) and the book and interactive tutorial included with the product. No live technical support is provided.
