Chevell Parker is a Consultant in the Base, Macro and ODS group within the Institute’s Technical Support Division at the Institute’s Worldwide Headquarters in Cary, NC. His group supports BASE SAS Procedures, the Macro facility and the Output Delivery System. Chevell authored the Technical Support Document entitled, "The Template Tutorial". This document has evolved into the Template FAQ on the SAS Technical Support web page, which hosts the most questions most frequently asked about PROC TEMPLATE. Chevell was selected as the recipient of the SAS Institute Consultant of the Year (SICY) Award in 2000 by SAS-L newsgroup readers . He joined SAS Institute in 1993 and has been using SAS Software for over 10 years.

Neil Howard was recently Manager of Statistical Analysis and Reporting for clinical research and development at Pfizer, Inc. Global Research and Development in Ann Arbor, Michigan. A SAS user for more than twenty years, Neil has been an invited speaker at user group meetings on topics such as: efficiency techniques, advanced DATA step processing, testing and validation, graphics, “effective presentations”, and interviewing/hiring SAS programmers. She was a contract instructor for SAS Institute for seven years, teaching courses on SAS fundamentals, programming, macro, report writing, and graphics, including the ANNOTATE facility. She chaired SUGI 20 in Orlando, Florida and has been active in local, regional, and special interest SAS user groups.

Effective Communications Skills for Technical Professionals - Claudia Sandonato, Independent Performance Consultant
