From what I've heard first-hand--"any" ERP implementation will take

I've been involved with ERP implementations since 1996. They seem to
rarely go smoothly or as advertised by the vendor (and end up costing
much more than promised). I have not heard anything good said about
Oracle Financials (not that it is a bad product - I just have not heard
any one say anything good about it - but I have heard negative comments
about it). So, I am not so surprised that SI is having trouble getting
Oracle Financials running.

The problems SAS have had in implimenting ORACLE financials
was cited as one of the reasons why the IPO hasn't happened yet.
