Several chapters in SPSS ADVANCED MODELS 10.0  are devoted to survival
analysis in SPSS. Though it is oriented toward Stata rather than SPSS,
Mario Cleves, william W Gould and Roberto G. Gutierrez, AN INTRODUCTION
TO SURVIVAL ANALYSIS (Stata Press, 2002) can be read profitably. You
will also learn about procedures that cannot be carried out easily in
