Hi Sabrina,
In order to avoid this kind of error, you need to install the MS-Loopback protocol on your PC and everything should be ok just after that.

Hello everyone.
When trying to use SPSS 10.on a local machine without network access, I get the following (yellow) error message:
Host machine could not be found on network.
The PC runs on Win98 (B).
Anyone has an idea where to chg the property? Or not my fault? Any help greatly appreciated. Sabina
