Thanks for your email. It's also first time for me to hear about the file with extension of DMP. It's not BMDP file.I have used BMDP before. I checked the file with extension of DMP from internet today, and knew that the file with DMP extension is Dump file, but I didn't find the way to convert it to SPSS file.

Hi Nan !

Never heard of a program called DMP. Perhaps you mean BMDP, an old statistical package mainly used in the medical sciences. In that case you need a statistical conversion program (DBMSCOPY can manage that)

Alternatively you can write out an ascii-file from BMDP and read it into SPSS
