Hi
The new tables (CTABLES) of SPSS 11.5 have an option to show empty category.
Using the menu:
1. In the Table Tab of the Custom Tables, click on the categorical variable
(in the right pane of the window)
2. Click on "Categories and Totals" in the "Define" box (at the bottom left
corner of the window)
3. Place a tick mark in front of the "Empty categories" option at the bottom
of the window.
On the other hand, if you do not have SPSS 11.5, use the technique described
in
"Show empty categories in tables (second method).SPS" in

Subject: Showing non-present categories in tables
I wonder if anyone has any suggestions to this problem?
I have 4 variables in a table: treatment type site result and
month_of_treatment.
treatment type is numbered 1-5 and result 1-2.
I presently produce a table with site > type by month > result.
Where a particular site hasn't carried out certain treatments, obviously
these don't show up in the table. However I would like them to so that all
table dimensions are the same for each site. Is this possible?
Many thanks ,
