Job description:

provides programming leadership and support to the project team; input on the CRF, database, table shell design, and CRT definitions; allocate tasks to the project programmers including CROs, consultants and temporary employees; establish (with project team and manager), prioritize, and monitor project time lines and tasks for Statistical Programming deliverables; interface with alliance CRO's and outside consultant resources working on the project; write, document, and maintain project standard macros and programs used across all protocols; use the functional area standard macros designed for all projects.

Have a very good understanding of interfacing SAS with the operating system including being able to write more complex scripts to gain efficiencies with the operating system. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced project programmers. Experience in UNIX and Win/NT environment is highly desirable.

B.S. degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field plus 7-8 years of relevant experience; M.S. degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field plus 6-7 years of relevant experience.
