Subject: Normed/Scaled Weights in SPSS
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"; format=flowed

Is there a way to automatically weigh regression analyses by normed weights (as is the default in SAS) rather than the original weights (as is the default in SPSS)? I can do this manually, but need to do quite a number of models using sub-samples of the total sample, and would like to use a macro or similar syntax to calculate the normed weights for each sub-sample. (by the way, I'm using spss 10, but can upgrade to 11 if this is possible in an easier manner in the newer version)

Thanks in advance

Jeff
