hello folks. i am doing extensive work on college retention from fall semester to fall semester for 12 years. i am merging both semesters' data and selecting students who show up twice. I know there is a way to do this simply but i can't figure it out. i've tried recount syntax on names and am able to delete students who have 1 in the 2nd semester but that's as far as i get. i can't seem to get rid of students who only show up in the first semester (students not retained).

Semester SS# name recount
