Subject: Intra-class correlation and the aggregation issue???
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii
Hello everybody,
I collected questionnaires from individuals working on three departments in different organisations. I seek to know if there are significant differences among the three depts. or not.
I computed mean and SD. But, some researchers argue that the aggregation issue should be considered in this regard and they suggest to carry out intra-class correlation to measure the level of aggregation.
My questions are :
1- what does intra-class correlation mean?
2- how to carry out it using SPSS?
3- is there any alternative test to measure the level of aggregation?
Any thoughts are most welcome,
Best regards,
