Dear F deBeaune,

You will not be able to download the entire SAS products from the web.

However, you can call SAS Institute (919-677-8000) and request a trial evaluation (about 60 days) for any of the SAS products you wish to test. I believe starting with the newest version of SAS (V9), you will need Windows NT, XP or 2000 in order to test them out. SAS V8.2 (current release) will run on most Windows Platforms. The software will come on CDs and there will be manuals on them as well.

Now, once the 60 day period is over, you will need to tell SAS if you want to license or terminate the trial evaluation agreement. HTH,

Charles Patridge

Also, there is SAS LE (Learning Edition for $125.00) but it does not have everything that SAS has in the full license. And you may wish to read the comments that were made about SAS LE on the SCONSIG.com web site (look under Table of Contents to find them). The SAS LE has a fixed expiration date of December 2006 until further notice.
