3 disable data set compression "on the fly" for data sets that will not be
reduced in size by compression
Guess "is" should be rather phrased as "maybe will"...

Can't remember whether it is in 8.2 or 9.0, but in some recent version
compression is automatically disabled when it would actually result in an
expansion of data set size.
