The original directions for running both SAS 8 and SAS 6 was to install SAS
6 and THEN SAS 8. The SAS 8 install appars to recognize that SAS 6 is there
and make some adjustments.
Installing SAS 6 AFTER SAS 8 definitely trashes things. Been there, done
that.
